Thursday, July 18	evening	James Best will be on hand at the Henry County Arts Park to display and sell his artwork. FREE ADMISSION

Friday, July 19	1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.	PUBLIC WELCOME -- At least one "Andy Griffith Show" star will be at each of the following locations to sign autographs: The Henry County Art Center Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Wilbur Wright Birthplace & Interpretive Center Those interested in purchasing an autograph should plan to arrive early!
	6:00 p.m.	Celebration for the Mayberry Stars at the Henry County Arts Park in downtown New Castle. Festivities include: Dinner with the "Mayberry" stars Hog roast Performances by Lindsey Ridener & Big Sky Band Question & Answer session with the "Mayberry" stars Charity Auction featuring Mayberry memorabilia; proceeds will benefit the Henry County United Fund and the Art Association of Henry County. Mayberry-Themed White Elephant Bowling Tournament
Friday, July 19, 2002 (2:00 p.m.) at the Rose Bowl, 550 S. Memorial Drive in New Castle. Registration is limited to 140 participants. $10 (shoes extra). Those interested in participating in this event must fill out a form and pay prior to the cut-off date of July 17. Space is limited to the first 140 sign-ups. Mayberry RFD Stride and Ride
Run, walk, and bike events on Saturday, July 20, 2002. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.; events at 9:00 a.m. Located at the New Castle Chrysler High School Fieldhouse, 801 Parkview Drive in New Castle. Entry $15-$20. www.strideandride.com
Antique Auto Show on Saturday, July 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by the Central Indiana Old Car Club. Located at Baker Park in New Castle.

Movies at the Library
The Henry County Library is showing movies the weekend of July 19 and 20 in celebration of "Mayberry in the Midwest". Stars of the Andy Griffith Show were not only television stars, but they also made some memorable movies. In their honor, the following movies will be shown:

Friday, July 19 (2:30 - 6:00 pm) - "The Incredible Mr. Limpett" featuring Don Knotts and Elizabeth MacRae (Gomer's girlfriend LuAnn Poovie) and "The Reluctant Astronaut" featuring Don Knotts.
Saturday, July 20 at 11:30am - 5:00pm - "Ghost and Mr. Chicken" featuring Don Knotts & Hal Smith (Otis), "No Time for Sergeants" featuring Andy Griffith and Don Knotts, and "Shakiest Gun in the West" featuring Don Knotts.
