"Mayberry in the Midwest" is a two-day
events filled weekend which reunites stars of "The Andy Griffith Show."
Brought to you by the Henry County Convention and Visitors Bureau and a
number of sponsors, this is a wonderful community oriented event. The
stars participate in a number of events, two of which require a ticket
(including a dinner & auction w/ the stars and a cast reunion show.)
People come from all over the Midwest and the United States for this
reunion. This is the second year for the event and thousands of people
are expected to return this year. These crowds will also eagerly attend
the added "Mayberry Fest" happening at Baker Park on Saturday, July 12th
from 12 noon until 4pm in New Castle. "Mayberry" is the theme of the
weekend and the addition of a "Mayberry Fest" adds to this great
love-affair of "The Andy Griffith Show!"
